Trying to Understand Consumers

I can't understand why people are so hesitant to join FREE Shopping Malls, such as MyPowerMall and BigCrumbs. Why would anyone who shops on line go directly to a store to shop instead of their own Malls. Everytime you shop you earn with Malls. You get nothing from direct stores.
